!Succumbs To Injuries: Raymond H. Mease, of Eden, Who Was Thrown From a Wagon, Dies at the General Hospital. Raymond H. Mease, of Eden, dies at the General Hospital at an early hour this morning, death resulting from injuries sustained in an accident at Eden on Friday afternoon of last week. While engaged in loading a wagon, the load shifted and Mease was catapulted into the air, landing heavily on his head. He was unconscious when picked up, and he was brought to the General Hospital the next day. During the entire week he was at the hospital he was conscious only at brief intervals, his skull having been fractured. Meningitis developed, which was the direct cause of death. The deceased, who was twenty-nine years of age, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Mease, and unmarried. He was a moulder by trade. His parents and two sisters, Ada M. and S. Bertha Mease, both at home, survive. The body will be sent to Eden for interment. From Lancaster Newspapers, December 20, 1912.
