A RECORD.
Little Frances Caufield, twelve years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Caufield, has established a record in school attendance that will evidently bear the pennant inscription of champion for many a day. Beginning at the age of six, she has
attended school sick school years, and the records show that she has never been tardy or absent during all that time. The parents live on a farm in the country, and are patrons of school district 66. No deterrent influences kept the little
girl away from the school room. Rains, snows, zero weather. or deep much did not bar her determination to be present and on time every day of the school session. And her teachers all gave her one hundred percent credit for being studious and
obedient.

Frances died at the age of 19 years. She was attending the Cheney Normal College at the time.
