Ida Grove lost a beautiful character and a devoted christian mother in the
death of Mrs. E P Keith which took place last Thursday after an illnessof a
year.
Ella Frymar Swartz was born July 14, 1857 in Clinton County Iowa and was
married February 2, 1879 to E P Keith in Cedar County and they moved toIda
County in 1884.
Ten Children were born to them, seven of whom survive. Those living are HE
Keith of Ida Grove, Mrs. Edna Spees, Sioux Falls, Mrs. Eva Blake, idaGrove, H
S Keith, Cambridge NE, Misses Ethel, Bessie and Nellie of Ida Grove.
All the children were present at the funeral except Mrs. Spees who wasunable
to come on account of illness.
She is survived by four brothers two of who were present the funeral,George
Swartz of Boyer, and Louis Swartz of Windom, Minnesota.
Mrs Keith was a member of Ida Grove Rebekah Lodge of the Past Noble GrandClub
and of the German Reformed Church of Tipton Iowa.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the M E Church, Rev. Mr.Blue
assisting Rev. W. J. Todd. Services at the grave were conducted by the Ida
Grove Rebekah lodge.
