A funeral for Myra L. Martinson, 67, of 815 32nd St., will be at 11:30 am Thursday at Jerns & LeVeck Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Martinson died at her home Tuesday.
She was born Sept. 13, 1922, in Kiana, Alaska, and she lived in Bellingham for the last 27 years.
She had worked at the Ferndale Post Office
After retirement, Mrs. Martinson enjoyed traveling, gardening, needlework and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Carole J. Martinson of Bellingham; two sons, John McDonald of Bellingham and Ton McDonald of Alaska; two sisters Clara Salinas and May Berhadt, both of Alaska; one grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Greenacres Cemetery following the funeral.
Arrangements are by Jerns & LeVeck Funeral Chapel.

Myra L. Martinson, age 67 of 815 32nd St., Bellingham, passed away April 10, 1990. She was born Sept. 13, 1922, in Kiana, Alaska, and she lived in Bellingham for the last 27 years. She was a long time Ferndale Post Office employee and after
retirement, Mrs. Martinson enjoyed traveling, gardening, needlework and friends.
She is survivors by two sons, John McDonald of Bellingham and Tom McDonald of Alaska; a daughter, Carole J. Martinson of Bellingham; ; two sisters Clara Rotnan Salinas of Kotzebue, AK and May Berhadt of Alaska; and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Thursday, April 12, at Jerns LeVeck Funeral Chapel & Crematorium followed by burial at Greenacres Cemetery. Under the direction of Jerns LeVeck Funeral Chapel & Crematorium.
