Allgemeine Notizen:
October 11, 1969- My mother (Diane C. Hamilton-Russell) and my siblings, David, Shelly and I (Debbie Russell-deHoog) were at Great Grandpa and Great Grandma's (known to us children as little Grandpa and Grandma because they were so tiny). I was sitting next to Little Grandpa as he put on his shoes, we were getting ready to go someplace with my mother. As he put on his shoes he slowly leaned over onto me, I being young didn't know what was happening.
My mother called the aid car and we were soon rushed into the kitchen where they had taken little grandma, she sat rocking in her little white chair. My Aunt Toni Hamilton (Denny's Wife) came and took us kids to her home and it wasn't until later, when mom came to get us that I realized that Little Grandpa was gone. Through out all those hours I believed that if we called the aid car that of course Grandpa would be just fine.
Great Grandpa was such a quiet man. Slender in build and such fun to play with.
The following information was taken off of the Memorial Card:

At the bottom of the card reads:
We sorrow not as others do,
Whose hopes fade like the flowers;
There is a hope that's born of God
And such a hope is ours!
